Blog 4-incorporating new HR systems

Incorporating new HR systems are great. The best way to go about it is to make sure that all employees are on the same page with the new system. Miscommunications throughout a healthcare facility when bring in new systems can cause a lot of disaster and chaos. Creating a booklet for every employee will be a great way to go about it. This will not be the only step, but the next step should be an employee meeting with management going over the new HR system. Following the meeting, everyone should be given the chance to ask questions and a small quiz following will be great. This will make sure that everyone is on the same page and that the new system is understood. Without human resources in a company, it would fail tramatically. This is the system that allows employees to get paid, and it also al allows a company or facility to hire more individuals. So any type of communication in incorporating a new system should be done wisely and in a n efficient manner.

Blog 4 Incorporating New HR systems

I remember when I was hired at Khol's, one of my training sessions was to to educated on HR. It was video that they had showed me about the do's and dont's of their company. Also if I had any problems concerning the way I was treated by my management or co-workers, they provided numbers that you can call to discuss your issues. Afer I had watched the video I had to take three tests on the HR part itself. Even though the test seemed like they took forever, it was truly beneficial for every employee. Anytime there was a new plan or new changes being made, the managers would gather all their employees for a meeting to discuss the changes. It kept us all well informed so that everyone was on the same page.

Blog # 4– Incorporating New HR systems

It is not easy to incorporate new HR systems. People in general do not like change, look at the backlash whenever someone changes the layout for Youtube or Facebook! You must bring in people to train your HR team and then the HR team needs to train the employees. It takes time and money and the longer someone has been working in the company the harder it will be. Your most trusted employee could become your biggest obstacle. I think there are a few things you can do to ease the transition.
1.Let everyone know ahead of time that a new system is going to be put in place.
2.Give extensive information about the new system and offer classes for those who wish to take it.
3.Explain why the new system is better. It may be because of a new law or the system is better.
No matter what you do some employees may still be combative but there isn't much you can do and they will eventually get over it or quit. It will not happen overnight but a good HR system is the backbone to a good company so do not be afraid to change it.

Blog #3-Communication plan for emergency prepardness methods

Not only is it important to have a plan for emergency situations it is important for everyone to understand it. When the plan is put into place a seminar needs to be scheduled so everyone can hear the plan. There needs to be a demonstration for those who are visual learners. It is important for the seminar to be done more that once for those who couldn't attend the first one. Also written instructions need to be provided too, in case they forget or were not fully paying attention. Then you could have them demonstrate for you to make sure they got it. The plans could save lives so those in charge need to do everything possible to make sure every one understands!

Blog #3-Communication plan for emergency prepardness methods

The best way to communicate emergency procedures in a healthcare facility is to make a booklet with all the methods. Every employee should be required to read the booklet and then a test should be taken by everyone to make sure they understand. By providing the same resource for every employee, there will not be any confusion. Everyone will be on the same page with no worry  of wether the emergency procedures will be well understood. Once all the procedures are understood, then the steps can be taken to apply them throughout the healthcare facility. To avoid miscommunication and misinterpretation, making sure that every employee is on the same page with every policy that will be established is the way to go.
