Blog 1 EMR

I believe the electronic medical records is a valuable resource for doctors to have. They will be able to keep track of which prescriptions that they have prescribed to patients. With them using this system, the medications that you are allergic, will be already noted on your file. I had one occasion where my doctor was about to give me a shot that contained pencillin, which I am allergic to. The computer system stopped him because I could not have the shot.

    Yes is totally agree with this poing of view. Electronic medical records are very essential in healthcare.

    Wow, that is a very scary situation! Isn't penicillin a very common allergy? He should have asked first. I'm glad we have medical records then, haha.

    Yes, In my family there are a handful of us that are allergic to penicillin.
